Ashampoo Burning Studio 9 supports 3 different image file types: |
CUE/BIN |
This is one of the most widely used formats. Two files are created: one small file with the extension .cue that contains a description of the CD structure and one big file with the extension .bin that contains the actual data. Every type of CD can be stored in the CUE/BIN. |
ISO |
This kind of image file is more limited, as it can only be used for simple data CDs (i.e. CDs containing only normal files and folders). |
ASHDISC |
This is Ashampoo’s own image file format. Like CUE/BIN, it can be used to store all kinds of CD, but it has the advantage that only a single file is created, instead of two. |
