Burning Studio

With Ashampoo Burning Studio 9 you can create your very own movie CDs or DVDs. The following types of CDs or DVDs are supported:

Burn A Video DVD from a Prepared Folder

This option allows you to burn a Video DVD from a folder that contains the DVD-Video files. The folder must contain VOB, IFO and BUP files which are usually created by DVD authoring software. The folder is often called VIDEO_TS.

Create A Video CD (VCD)

A Video CD is a special kind of CD that can be played by many DVD players. Only Video CD compatible MPEG-1 files (.mpg) can be burned to these kinds of CDs (the program will automatically check whether a file is compatible and displays a warning message if it is not).

Create a Slideshow DVD

This option allows you to create great slideshows of your pictures and music featuring animated graphical menus.

Create A Super VCD (SVCD)

The Super Video CD is an advanced form of the Video CD. It usually has better quality and you can fit longer movies on one CD. Only Super Video CD compatible MPEG-2 files (.mpg or .vob) can be burned to these kinds of CDs (the program will automatically check whether a file is compatible and displays a warning message if it is not).

Copy Movie Files to a CD/DVD/Blu-ray Disc

Simply takes your movie files and stores them on a CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc. These kinds of discs can usually only be played with your PC, much in the same way that you play files from your hard disk.
